How It Works
Measure the length in feet, width in feet, and depth in inches that you would like to fill and enter them into our calculator and it will output an estimate amount of bulk materials that you will need!
To do the calculation yourself:
Total Cubic Feet = length (ft.) * width(ft.) * (depth(in.)/12)
Total Cubic Yards = Total Cubic Feet / 27
Ex: If you have a 10 ft by 10 ft by 3 in area to fill
25 Cubic Feet = 10 * 10 * (3 / 12)
0.93 Cubic Yards = 25 Cubic Feet / 27
If your area is an irregular shape, divide it into various rectangles and add the totals together to get a rough estimate of the cubic yards required.
